Alex Sphon

Alex Sphon has served on NWPA Pride's Board of Directors since 2013 and has served as President since 2016. 

Alex is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Prior to college, Alex attended Erie's Central High School. Currently, Alex is employed by National Fuel Gas Company as an accountant and he is Chairperson/Co-Founder of the LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group. Along with serving on NWPA Pride's Board, he also serves on the City of Erie's LGBTQIA+ Advisory Council and is a member of the Erie County Human Relations Advisory Council. Alex has also been sober since June 2019.
