The 2026 Pride season is officially underway.
We have been busy behind the scenes. We held our elections. We booked the venues. And now, we are ready to share the plan for the year ahead.
Leading the Way
First, let’s talk about leadership. Your NWPA Pride Alliance board has some familiar faces in charge for 2026.
Season Crannell and Patrick Hiller were re-elected to lead the team. They return as President and Vice President for a second year.
We also have some shifts in the officer lineup. Andrew Caswell is stepping into the role of Treasurer. Anna Schmitt is taking over as Secretary. Both Andrew and Anna have served on the board for years. They know the ropes. They know this community. And they are ready to get to work.
The Summer Lineup
We know summer feels far away right now. But it will be here before you know it. We have four major events planned for the 2026 season.
Get these dates in your phone now:
- Erie Pride Parade: We kick things off on Sunday, June 14 in Downtown Erie.
- Pride on the Bay: The celebration continues on Saturday, June 27 at Liberty Park.
- Pride on the Diamond: We head to Meadville on Saturday, July 25 for our annual event at Diamond Park.
- 33rd Annual Pride Picnic: We close out the season on Saturday, August 15 at the Rotary Pavilion on Presque Isle.
Don't Wait for June
You don't have to wait for summer to find your community. We host happy hours every single month in both Erie and Meadville.
If you are in Erie, meet us at The Zone Dance Club. We are there on the first Wednesday of every month starting at 6:00 PM.
If you are in Meadville, join us at Julian’s Bar & Grill. We take over the spot on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM.
Both events are a great way to unwind. There is no cover. Just good drinks and good people.
Keep an eye on nwpapride.org for vendor applications and volunteer sign-ups. It is going to be a big year.
